The results are for compliance with four guidelines (openness, collection, security and publication) stated in the Federal Privacy Commissioner's Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Websites.

Of 250 web sites audited during 2001, 172 (68.8 percent) complied with Guideline 1: Openess
Of web 125 sites audited during 2001 only, 72 (57.6 percent) complied with Guideline 1: Openess
Of web 125 sites audited during 2000 and again in 2001, 100 (80 percent) complied with Guideline 1: Openess
