Federal Privacy Commissioner, Malcolm Crompton, will deliver three key speeches in March (in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra) before he leaves his role as Australia's national privacy regulator.

Speech title:Proof of Identity required? Getting identity management right
In his Sydney speech, the Commissioner will explore the complex issue of identity management. Many organisations need to know who they are dealing with and it's in all our interest to ensure that identification and authentication happens in a privacy enhancing way.
The Commissioner will deliver the keynote address on behalf of the Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association Australian IT Security Forum in Sydney, 30/3/04.
