Can a business use random number dialling to market products?
Basically, yes, even if the business is subject to the NPPs.For more information about the coverage of the NPPs, click here Information Sheet 12.
The business will usually be collecting personal information in the course of a randomly dialled call. If so, the business could continue this practice but would need to comply with the NPPs, as in the bridal boutique example.
