Site Changes
On 1 November 2010 the Office of the Privacy Commissioner was integrated into the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and a new website established at www.oaic.gov.au.

What are social networking sites?
Social networking sites are websites that let people socialise online, send messages to one another, share interests and information, chat, meet people, and post information, photos and videos about themselves for others to look at.
Some well-known social networking sites are MySpace, Facebook, Friendster and Bebo.
