There`s a lot of information on my ID. Is all of it allowed to be collected?
Not always.
Businesses are only allowed to collect the personal information they need to carry out their activities. This includes ID information. A business can only collect information from your ID that they need for the purpose they told you about.
Businesses must consider each item of information on the ID and decide whether it is needed for that purpose. If the business does not need it, then it can't collect it.
This answer is a summary only.
