What are my obligations in relation to providing individuals with access to information collected for AML/CTF purposes?
Access should be provided, unless there is a legitimate exception. For example, a reporting entity may be able to deny access to a suspicious matter report lodged with AUSTRAC under NPP 6.1(h).
Reporting entities are required to tell individuals why they are denying access to some or all of their personal information.
